Although most of the murals I’ve made over the past thirty years were for large areas in public spaces like hospitals, hotels, museums, theatres, and convention centers, I still create about ten pieces a year for people who just want a very personal professionally produced illustration on a wall in their home without the intricacies of finding and making time for a local painter to do the work.  I make the drawing proposal for free. I bend and weld the illustration out of wire in my shop. The art is powder coated with pigment that resists harsh weather and won’t fade in the sun. I ship the final piece within three weeks along with complete installation instructions. The homeowner hangs it himself – usually in less than an hour. Wire sculpture is perfect for that.
