The Best of Show nude women wire sculpture by Bart Soutendijk are lively figures where the artist has artfully utilized negative space to create volume. I cite the combination of the two pieces entered together they convey a range of skill in conveying emotion, body tension/relaxation, an understanding of body movement. He ingeniously conveys a sense of space with a minimum of line. The women depicted are friendly and confident and one senses a clear emotional connection between them. I feel that this artist is to be congratulated on his artistic accomplishment and to be encouraged toward continued success!
